Next fall, Michael Chiklis might have a more ordinary family.

The actor has been signed to the lead role in a CBS comedy pilot Vince Uncensored, from veteran writer Phoef Sutton (Cheers, Terriers) and exec produced by Conan O’Brien and David Kissinger.

The premise of the Warner Bros. project: “After a life-changing experience, a man decides to take a more honest approach to his life, work and family.” The Vince Uncensored job is in “second position” to Chiklis’ gig on ABC’s struggling No Ordinary Family, which is looking unlikely to get another season.

This casting didn't happen over night I doubt. I'm really disappointed in the actors for telling us to fight for the show. They continue to do so. When its now obvious the show won't be back.
