I think that timeline makes sense, although I'd probably put it at four years at the most. And I might have it wrong,but I think he was always pretty high-up from when Percy first recruited him? He did kill his family to get to Michael after all

The killing was accidental, because Michael was the one who had to die...Percy then recruited him because he took advantage of the bad result...

 Kasim was the agent that had to kill Michael (that's why the bomb was in the bad he had given to Michael), but accidentally it exploded when in the car there were the wife and daughter...then Kasim desappeared (because he was already planning to join Alkaeda or something like that)m but Percy decided to recruit Michael - giving him a false hope, to get Kasim one day. S1 was pretty linear, it's easier to remember than S2 __________________

I don't even remember if I watched the trailers - probably not, since I wanted to watch for him only, no matter what, and I had to write a note to myself to remember to watch it
