I read the news that "Bones" renewed for 9th season. Good for their fans.

And, how I wish our "Nikita" is safe like that.

Few days ago, I read this renewal status for major network, and as for CW's shows. Except few shows (Supernatural, TVD, Arrow), most of them can go either way.

I feel how CW's are so pathetic with that only 3 shows are reliable, and somewhat feel upset that my favorite show is dangled with cancellation guillotine.

I know CW is smaller than other major network, still they can do better than 3 shows if they pay attention. It's right under their nose, if they are up for it.

I've got my fingers crossed as everyone is saying the third season means a fourth is more likely for syndication purposes. At least now ratings are up in the timeslot

I totally agree about the CW Really The Vampire Diaries and Arrow are their only major successful shows because Supernatural is on its 8th season and can't go on for much longer, and except for Arrow they haven't been able to launch any hit new shows for years now. They just end up dragging out any successful shows they have (Smallville and now Supernatural) because they have nothing else to offer, I bet the same thing will happen with TVD next where instead of leaving it as a good run after say 5 or 6 seasons it will probably go on for ten seasons because they have nothing to replace it with

I'm not worried about Nikita anymore since they're up for syndication.

Syndication is a good thing, but the ratings must be anyway at a decent level (like the ones of the 3x05/3x06), because I think that if they're really bad, neither the syndication can save a show. There must be a low limit.


Maybe they want to do as ER (15 seasons) even if a medical drama can have a lot more resources to last that long (ER was and is still my first favorite show).

I have to look for it, but I read several articles already that Nikita is "safe" because it's up for syndication and the low ratings basically don't matter

I don't know. As I said there must be a low limit...anyway there are people who say that no matter how bad the ratings are, there will be a S4; and there are also people who say that it's not a sure thing anyway. Who knows
