Well, look at what happened to the AHS board. They opened that board just as the first season was ending, and there wasn't enough posters to sustain it during the hiatus. Now AHS's ratings are through the roof in their third season, but they have no board to post on anymore.

I wish people wouldn't jump ship on boards too soon.

A few of the main actors have become more popular because of UtD: Mike Vogel and Rachelle Lefevre in particular, but why not just open Celebrity threads on that board if people want only to talk about the actors? If the show is gone, there's nothing more to say about it. The book it's based on can be discussed in the book thread.

But Celebrities boards need a lot of fans to be and stay open...a thread on a show board is easier to mantain

For example someone years ago opened a Lyndsy Fonseca - our Alex - campaign, but there weren't fans, there. Here few people posted and liked Alex/Lyndsy, but the Campaign was ignored and still is.

It's easier to talk about Megan Hilty on Smash board than campaigning for a board about her. Even if a show ended people can talk about new projects or make survivors or games about the ended cshow and characters. Otherwise on FF all those "Past shows" boards shouldn't even exist, they wouldn't have sense.
