Her big love for leather is weird, since she's vegan. I know that she surely uses fake leather, but the fact that she likes the look is fun

Hmm true I would never wear even fake fur because I don't like what fur represents, but maybe it's different for leather as it doesn't have the same stigma behind it

I often read that vegans can't even wear leather shoes because they come from the animals' death. But all the "vegan shoes" I saw are ugly, I wonder if Maggie has vegan versions of the fashion shoes she wears...I doubt that the famous fashion houses uses fake leather for their shoes.

Maggie's a vegan? Perhaps that's why she's so skinny? I could never be a vegan. I love my burgers too much.

Same I tried being a vegetarian briefly at school, but it didn't last long I'm already a picky eater, and I wasn't prepared for how much more that would limit my diet!

Yep, 100% vegan Vegans are even ,ore strict than a simple vegetarian, because they don't eat milk, eat eggs, dairy etc, basically nothing that comes from animals (milk is not okay because to produce it they keep getting the cows pregnant and sell the milk that is destined for the calves; eggs are chicks that were prevented to be born, etc...). So if you're vegan you have to be very creative Maggie was interviewed several times and once on a magazine there was an article/interview with her describing all her "eating day", with a typical daily diet.
Maggie said that she never eats tofu, for example (because it seems that everyone thinks she does, being a vegan ).


I'm sure that she's so skinny mostly because of this I would desappear if I'd be even only a vegetarian I'm way too lazy to create recipes like she does, going here and there looking for the weirdest ingredients (and usually that stuff isn't that cheap, neither).

I think that a person can be healthy eating everything, without too much junk food, without exceeding in general.
The ethic thing is a different story, usually the main reason people go vegetarian or vegan is because they love animals. I'm not that rigid, I guess - I love animals but I need to survive (and anyway I think that the human being is omnivorous).
