NIKITA’S WORLD UNRAVELS ── Just as Nikita (Maggie Q) is finally starting to see an end to the long war with The Shop, Ryan (Noah Bean) confesses a secret that could unravel it all. Meanwhile, Michael (Shane West) tries to get Nikita to accept their new circumstances as he contemplates what comes next for the two of them. Realizing Sam (Devon Sawa) was planning to steal her diamonds, Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) gives him a suitcase of fake diamonds to deliver to her contact in France. Alex is surprised when he upholds his end of the bargain and doesn’t take off with the jewels. However, things get messy when Sam is jumped by the loan shark he owes money to, and Alex must step in to save him. Nick Copus directed the episode written by Oliver Grigsby.

I did appreciate the gratuitous semi nudeness at the beginning, which gave the show runners yet another excuse to have Maggie Q in her underwear.

I'm still recovering! And even if I was sure Ryan was the dead, when I saw it

The way he died was also surprising, I had imagined something like a simple gunshot or he shooting himself...but no!

Sam and Alex...I don't know, it's probably because it happened in so few episodes, but it was all so quick and rushed

I mean also with Sean things didn't start exactly well, like now with Sam...but they had two seasons, basically, to become a couple. Sam and Alex only six episodes...I felt it very very condensed. Too much. But I know that they hadn't a lot of time in general.

I liked that Alex told Sam that he needed to figure out who he was, and not just pretend to be a better person for her.

Actually, they didn't have two seasons to become a couple. Sean was introduced in season two and he and Alex became a couple by the end of season two. By the start of season three they had become estranged, as Alex became more involved with Division while Sean found himself unsure of where he fit in her life. Meanwhile, Alex and Owen had all of season three to get to know each other before he became Sam again, so it's not like we didn't get any development between them..... like the butterflies thing.

Yeah, Amanda does look like a horror movie now.

Her outside now matching her inside, perhaps?

I'm not sure if this question goes on this forum or the forum for sam/alex? Here's my question: does anyone remember what alex said on the phone to the evil dudes that captured sam? I couldn't hear what she said and couldn't turn the volume up in time to hear it. I know it was something about an app on her phone, but i didn't catch the name of the app that she called it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The app that Alex was referring to when she was on the phone with Sam's captors was called the "Find my deadbeat boyfriend" app.
