Nikia 1x08 ~ "Phoenix" Episode Discussion (Airing 11/04/10 on CW)
Official Synopsis Division sends Thom (Ashton Holmes) to eliminate Anna (guest star Rayisa Kondracki, "The Bridge"), a woman who was having a secret affair with a U.S. Senator (guest star Spencer Garrett, "Leverage"). Division agrees to cover up any trace of the affair as long as the Senator agrees to help pass a bill that will continue to fund the agency. Nikita (Maggie Q), with Alex's (Lyndsy Fonseca) help, attempts to reach out to Anna's parents, but the conversation doesn't go as she expected. Shane West, Xander Berkeley, Melinda Clarke, Aaron Stanford and Tiffany Hines also star. David Barrett directed the episode written by James Barnes. Source: CW |

Today's episode was very entertaining !! I really liked Alex today the extreme measures she will go to for Nikita is so heart warming. Also I think today's episode also did a good job in showing how thom's character will be evolving, definitely Michael's protege.(with all the internal emotional battle and falling for the wrong/right girl)
Oh I was pleasantly surprised to see Roan Back!!!! Now that is the agent that should be second in command!!(that guy is super freakyyyyy) Ohhh seriously these black boxes are like the worst kept secret,who doesn't know about them!!lol Michael and Nikita had their usual eye stare session and Nikita actually took a pot shot at him! Ouch calling michel a bodyguard was really quite funny! Even Michael looked like he was quite insulted! ( which he should be!) The question that's really on my mind is why couldn't Nikita keep yoshi? Yoshi stole the show! Jokes aside Michael and nikita managed to show every facet of emotion towards each other in the 55 seconds they had when sharing the screen. It was nice to see Nikita tease him, but also give him respect by calling him a true patriot. Anyone who could live in percy's world for the greater good could be called nothing less. Also I really like Alex with thom ,they look really good together and I find Alex is real around him. (as real as anyone can be living in division) thom said he's moving out,does that mean we won't be seeing him regularly.? Next week's promo looks amazing! Can't wait to see it! That's all.for now anyway! |

Great episode!!! Lots of action.
Yoshi!!!  I like Michael/Thom's interactions. Thom really looks like Michael. He's lost, he does things even if he thinks it's wrong, he's in love with the wrong girl... they have a lot of similarities. Roan, i love that guy, he's scary! And the Doctor guy is creepy! Michael was bad ass in this episode! Cold-hearted! I love him like that! I don't know if I like him more when he's softer and have feelings or when he's cold-hearted  ... I think I like all his mixed emotions! I love this character! I'm VERY upset! Where's Malex?!  __________________

I hope the ratings go up again since the show has lost a million viewers basically since the last 3 episodes which is saddening to see.
