I'd love to know more about her early life, how she got to where she is/the way she is.

Me too. In Division she started as an agent who worked with the recruits in mind/brain/psychologic stuff and only later she started selecting recruits from prisons, too (I read it in the screencap with her board ). She speaks chinese too.
But her life before Division must be so interesting! __________________

That's probably how she knows all about these recruits/agents. She's studied them and everything.

And she remembers all of them
I remember her line, in S2: it was something like (about recruits) "they don't keep secrets. Not from me" __________________

That's so scary! I'm glad I don't have to deal with her.

She didn't want Niki to die. She's sick.

A part of me thought that Nikita should have shoot her. No matter what. But if she dies the show would need a new mega villain.
I guess that killing Nikita is the last move. The last thing to do. First make her suffer because of her closest friends (killing them) and then, at the end, kill her. Even if a part of her can't do it (I'm really curious about their relationship when Nikita was still an agent. We saw it a little, but I wonder why Amanda developed such a strong attachment to her). __________________

Maybe Amanda had the same background or she wants to be like Nikita and she never became her
I loved that moment too! __________________

I don't know, it must be a more subtle thing...Amanda cared of her like a daughter. She was very special to her. I'm not saying that I believe she's her mother (I know some people speculate that ), but she really loved her - in her way, of course, so it was not a love like the others.

I think 3x11 Amanda is nominated in the synopsis, so maybe she'll have some scenes.
