Sorry, I should of clarified. Not the profile in the layout, but the bio on the user info page. I'm trying to apply some form of style override.

You mean like a link that sends you to the icons? That's called a cut.
Use:
<lj-cut text="click here for more icons">icons go here, as in <img src="http://whatever.com/img.jp"> or whatever</lj-cut>

You can change the "click here" part and the "icons go here" part.

lasha4god, I'm sure I've seen that done before but I'm not sure on how to get it.

Tasha are you using s1 or s2?

Nikki, just put all your image codes after the cut, and when you post the entry it will automatically create the page. Go to that entry and right click the cut link and then you can post that here to direct people to the page with all the icons.

I hope that's what you meant and that I made sense

I'm not perfect with layouts, but if I saw this:

I'd change that margin top to 300, the same as your header length. Maybe that will work. If not, than i'm sorry I don't know anything else. The best way I do things is just to work with the numbers. That's the only way i've learned.

The best way to help you is if you link your LJ. It varies with certain layouts and codes.

They just shared a few versions of simple layout codes. The link is on my userinfo page. Just click on the "sometimescrazy" link below in my sig line.

Stacey, I'm actually using one of the user's overrides now, abit it being fully color rewored and tweaked by me. It was very helpful. But are you saying she has overrides for the userinfo page too?

ETA: I discovered yes, but it brings me back to the start as I was wondering if styles can be used. But these are very help and I may use a variation of one of these.

Your LJ looks good so far Tasha. It seems it would be easy enough to use a regular code. I'll try to help you tonight when I get home from work, if nobody else has.

Also, check if there's a comm for the style of layout your using. Trust me, other people always have the same questions we do and get them answered. I've found a bunch of tricks just reading other people's comments.

Whatever you put intisde the cut, it just goes onto the extra page. You don't have to make anything.
