How do I remove the ugly dark-grey bar that LJ chooses to put on top of the page?
I don't know why it just adds that bad, I have an icon journal and I never had that problem but now I started a community and for some reason it just adds that ugly control bar on top of the page. I made everything the way I did when I made my personal journal

ok, I tried to make a cut at my livejournal... But it doesn't work

It just says the text you said that we needed to put before and after the icons! can anyone help me?

Do you mean the lj-cut?

I have two questions:

Does anyone know why I can't quote other users when I reply to them at my journal?

Also, I have a header on my journal, but for some reason it stays stuck in the middle and is not as long as it looks like it should be. Have any ideas why?

You probably just need to make/find a header with a larger width. Or try changing the width of your boxes.
