Brought his over from another thread.

I'm totally a sci-fi/action/fanasty person too. Though Sci-fi can be a little iffy with me sometimes. I call them "future horror" films. They always have really creepy/scary futures. The new "Star Trek" film is AWESOME! LOVE IT!

The romantic comedy these days are pretty crappy. The old ones are better even if I'm still not a fan. "It Happened One Night" is one of the best of the bunch if not my favorite.

I think any genre can be iffy really though I'm sometimes ok with those "future" films. Not going to call them horror cause the genre horror is hard to say. Cause alot of thrillers and mystery and suspense are horror but not too me so blah to horror cause I don't like to be scared

Star Trek altogether owns not much of an original series fan, do like the movies that I saw but its about all the other series. Seen all the TNG movies and the new one rocked

I just find most romantic comedies ain't good at all and generally the same plot

True, but those "future" films seem like horror to me though with all the doom, glum, and fear. Yeah, I dislike horror films too. It hit and miss with thriller. I LOVE the Bourne films. One of the best trilogies.

Yeah, I wasn't a Star Trek fan, but man that new one is plan AWESOME! It's one of my favorite film! I can't wait for the sequel.

Yeah I so agree about the romantic comedy. They don't even try to make it fun when they have the same plot.

What how could I forget the Jennifer Garner romantic comedy 13 going on 30 or was it 30 going on 13. It wasn't original, but it was really good actually.

I'm big with thrillers/mysteries and suspense its a hit and miss with Horrors cause I do like some of them. Like Silent Hill and Resident Evil plus some of the slasher movies are good. But the genre of Horror isn't good at all

One of my first fandoms was Star Trek saw The Next Generation: Generations {1994} in cinema, I was 7. Both Star Trek and Star Wars were my first fandoms

13 going on 30 I do like Jenn's comedies even if I only seen them once. That one was good and the one she did with Matthew M was great Ghosts of Girlfriends Past

I don't like that kind of scary and I don't see R-rated films any which A LOT of those films are rated.

Star Wars! Love them! The newer one I don't hate, but to much CGI and not enough good acting. Obi-Wan is my favorite from the older and newer films. Do you read fan fiction? There are some I REALLY love. Ones I think are the best.

I never seen the that other Jennifer Garner film. I'm not a fan of Mathew. I should check it out if you think it's funny.

ETA: Is that Star trek film the one about the Wales? I saw that one.

I don't mind R-Rated but not for Horror, I saw one of the Saw movies and the storyline was alright but so much gore

Han Solo I'm there on not hating the news but the originals are so much better. I agree on how the CGI was over the top and where the originals had so much better acting

I enjoy Mathew cause he's done good movies and he's hot

Actually nope That was Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home its one of the original movies. I've seen all the original movies mainly from this summer marathons of them. Its the only one that I didn't catch with the Saturday movie night but had seen it before. II is my favourite from both actually. The Wraith of Khan from the original series and First Contact from TNG movies

Oh I won't disagree about his looks factor.

Is one of them with the worm that goes inside the ear? (shiver) I could never bring myself to watch all of that film.

You didn't answer my question? (wags finger) Do you read fan fiction?

Aww, I cats. They're my favorite. My last cat passed away a few years ago. I'm thinking about getting two kittens in the future. What's his name if you don't mind telling me? What breed?

Maybe I'll see it and fass forward that part.

Buddy and think he's just a normal tabby. Had him since he was born cause his mother was pregrent before we got her and her sister. So she gave birth a month after we got her. I posted a picture on the Fan Pictures thread that I created

Thats the best idea skip that part and watch it fully

I'll go look at it now.

Is it on DVD? My Dad was a big Star Trek fan so he has it on tape.

I only have the new one. I'm not even sure if we have the others on DVD. With my dad's love for them I would think we would.
