We can discuss in here about what the shows going to be about and the main storylines when the season starts

can't think of a title, need some help

Hmm, I'm not sure where I want the show to go yet. I do know that as much as I have liked some other shows in the past like CSI for instance I want to actually see character arcs and stories not ones that have a crime solved each week. From what I got from Comic-Con they will be doing both which I think is great for the show and makes me happy.

There might be something going on with Danny and Kono, but I'm not sure how I feel about that. I think I would wait more to see the dynamics of all the characters.

I wouldn't mind if they get a love interest if done right. Some people get to extreme about characters especially guys ones getting them. I hope the show doesn't shy from it. Though I wouldn't want it to be the main focus either.

I didn't think I write this much.

I want both tbh

I want character arcs cause character development rocks but I do want the weekly crimes. I'm thinking something like the first 2-3 seasons of Supernatural. They had the storyline of finding their father and YED along with weekly demons. So I want Jack's storyline to come in about his father thoughout the season cause might only be a season storyline. So want the two of them to work together, arcs and weekly stuff

I'm on the bromance tbh

so can't ship her with either yet until a few episodes in to actually see whats up. I'm not extreme on characters getting love interests if it works. If doesn't happen and it works then alright but if it happens and it works then good. I'm just thinking that I want it to wait for atleast mid-season or even season 2

Going to do this here cause not stepping front in the original series

Do you guys think they are going to just take the names and then go separate with the storyline. I know some remakes do main storylines the same while others will go totally different or take the middle with that

Oh, I don't mind them doing a crime each week, but some shows neglect growing their characters and having story arcs for them like CSI for instance.

I'm all about the bromance too.

I'm just not the kind of person who goes psycho if anyone of them gets a romance or has a girl breath around them.

Some fandoms can be extreme about that. I agree right now develop the characters and find their footing before anything comes along with romance.

I don't think this show really has that heavy duty mythology arc so I think we are cool with that. Though I have heard there is a BIG villain that was always there through the whole show. I can't say more about that.

CSI is like that but I find that at times they did character arcs

My Nicky got framed in S1 and then he was kidnapped. Also the others have had a bit of ones but I think I know what you mean. I think we should be fine cause it seems main characters, so should have plenty of time to give us development along with weekly crime

My bromance ships are for fun and I always ship them with ladies as well. We need footing and development with how I think no real romance until next season tbh

That would be cool if the big villain comes into play with this series

thats cool that it didn't have too deep on a mythology. So we should be able to have it where they go their own way

Then we should be great friends

That stuff he got in those seasons was awesome! I haven't watch the show lately I don't like what they have done with it.

I must of got the meaning of bromance wrong.

. I always thought it meant a close friendship. I think guys can be close without it turning into a romantic thing. Girls don't usually get that problem of people thinking that if they are that close.

That's what I got from the producers and the cast about the show.

I think it would be cool too as long as it's not dragged out with stupid story arcs and such.

ETA: About Jack's father. I think that will be something he will have to deal with throughout the first season not just story wise, but emotionally too.

Hell yeah on Nicky but am back in Season 6 for regular watch

did see re-runs of recent seasons but another OT topic

Bromance is close friendship

but alot of us can take it further at times. I dont do it as hardcore as some but I do look further sometimes

Its not Jack but Steve

its Alex's character, got Jack for some reason off something

and I think it will be a behind-the-scene/backstory for Alex. It'll be something he'll be dealing with for atleast the first season, but think it'll be a minor storyline

Now I remember Jack was the other actor who played Steve. Yeah, I don't think it will be on the forefront, but something we will come up once in a while.

I've understood bromance as friends/brothers but I do slash bromances at times

I like the idea of stuff coming up once and awhile

Hope it happens with all characters. They all have something borrowed deep down that comes up once and awhile

Daniel said his character has a dark past and from the preview it seem the local cops don't trust him, so I think that will be something that will come up.

I know Kono has some back story too, but I'm not sure I should talk about it since it wasn't in any of the previews I have seen. It's not as dark as Chin's.
