Only males are Navy SEALs because, according to "specialists", women cannot endure the physical exaustion of the training and missions. All of them are done in hostile environment and it has been said that women cannot perform as good as men in those situations, make it harder to perform the task (this is what I read, it does not express my opinion).

You can watch in youtube a program that followed the recruits till they became SEALs and you can see how much they go through in order to have The Trident.

Speaking of SEAL, I wanna see more about Steve being trained through severe physical training. Even we already watched S03E20, I still want more, cuz I read some fanfics mentioning Steve being punished/tortured and I love to see that.

Plus, I kinda wonder whether there is an episode about how Steve and Cath started falling for each other or not in this season. According to my knowledge, 2 people who both work in Navy can't love each other, otherwise they will be court-martialed. Maybe that's the reason why Cath quits Navy hehe )

Remember that in the last episode Cath`s commander told her about the hostige situation and he said that she might want to go there.Seemed to me that he knew.But then again,Steve is not in the Navy anymore.

See I knew that he is still in the Navy,I remember one episode where he had to go on a training or something of the sort but I dont quite remember.

I have a question for you guys:so Cath is not a Navy seal but to be a part of the intel she has the training of a Navy seal I suppose.Because the object of this training is not only to see if you are fisically fit but also to check the nivel of your determination.So if she went through the same training...I dont know the feminist in my is still speaking.

She went through armed and fighting training as is standard for the Navy, Dessy...
But Navy SEALs are the special elite of the Navy (think almost black-ops), therefore their training is separated from the other officers. Only men participate in it, and very few actually manage to complete it. You can't compare Cath's training to Steve's, it's like comparing a pro league player with the little league.

Yep that was episode 2,16 Steve went back with Cath to the Enterprice for his training.

No a Navy Seal training is only for men between 17 to 29 years, Cath had a Navy training which is a whole different then a Seal training

Thanks hon.It is all so interesting to me.I just thought she chose to work for the inteligence.In the episode where Cath and Syeve went to North Korea she said that she was just as qualified and he is for taking care of herself and I assumed they got the same training.Then it wasnt so.

She just couldn't choose to be a SEAL even if she wanted to.

As for that quote in 3.20 that she said that, it caused quite the commotion in the fanbase at the time. It's just one of those quote that was used in the episode, but that can't be taken seriously. Their training really can't be compared.
