Yeah, it's gonna be hard to get used to the show without her...well, for whoever is still going to watch the show.

Well, she's a free bird now. I am absolutely sad about no more Elena/Katherine/Others but I think her decision was based on what she wanted and what was best for her, also with TVD it has yet to end and I think had they known for sure that season 7 was their last then I think she would have stuck it out but with her heart not fully into it and having no way of predicting how much longer the show would go, I think she felt the need to make a decision. I definitely understand why some are upset, this show is about to lose it's female star and that is a big deal and a game changer but I think often times when these actors sign up for a show they aren't quite aware of how long the show will go and if it means they are going to miss out on other potential movies or projects. Also, there a comes a time in an actors life when they not only want to branch out but they also don't want to just be known as their character on a TV show. I mean even us normal people will work a job for years and god knows we get very bored after a while

but that's my take on it, and I do support this decision and if anyone else doesn't I think that's okay too. We can still love people even if we don't love everything they do.
