I don't use snapchat but I've definitely been asked to join a million times from friends and at one point I opened an account and I really just didn't understand the appeal. It's known for a picture disappearing after a certain amount of time but you can still screenshot the image if you wanted to keep it anyway

so it feels pointless. I also felt (and still do feel) the same about Twitter, I mean it's basically facebook only with statuses

you get 145 characters, why not just stick with facebook since there are no character limits

With Instagram I was intrigued by the filters, and tumblr I admit, I thought was dumb at first but the gifs are what kept me around

I don't see the point in using Snap Chat when you could use Skype, but that is my opinion. I've been thinking about getting myself an Instagram, but haven't got around to it. Twitter is too much for me.
