I would love it too but I guess Nina can't do much either since she plays Katherine too so she have to be careful. It's CW so I'm pretty much sure there's something in her contract.

Well, that's the only way I can see Elena changing it up without Katherine changing her hair, too. Unless, of course, Katherine didn't come back. But, this is just me wishing because we all know nothing is gonna change. Nina will dye her hair darker again before they start filming.

Ash, probably it's what she's going to do. It's the same thing with her hair, she's not allowed to cut them unless she have the permission from the show/CW.

Yeah I know its sad, but you see it in a lot of stuff. Like Emma Watson had to wait until HP was done to cut hers. She was so excited she cut it really short

So Nina will either have to wait until this show is done or try and reason with the main people and see what they think. I also think it would be annoying to wear a wig, but maybe Nina could handle it if she really wanted to change her hair.
