Unlike certain heroines today, despite her kind hearted and sympathetic nature, Elena is one tough chick with a backbone and isn’t afraid to fight back.
All the more reason why girls want to be friends with her and guys want to date her. So it’s nice to see that Nina shares our admiration for her alter ego too!

I have to admit, I haven't been happy with her characterization this season so far, but I guess it's too early to tell how it'll turn out. After some ranting on tumblr I'm back to loving Elena for the most part and hoping she'll be better written from now on. Am I the only one who feels this way?

I liked her storyline in 3.01 and 3.02 but I didn't like it in 3.03 so much. I mean Stefan said that he didn't want to be with her and broke her heart. So, what about Elena? She will give up or fight for Stefan again? I have no idea

I'm hoping you are right! I'm very scared with the way she will be written since she had kissed Damon because it's something Elena would never think she'd end up doing

I'm beginning to think that Damon would be gone forever. to think that the kiss was mainly her just being caught up in the moment and thinking

I think Elena will be at a point where she doesn't know what she wants, right now I believe it's Stefan but once she starts living without him for a while I think it's going to confuse her.
