We had the greatest love story in this show. Paige again being supportive and proving why she was the best character in this show. Willing to give up her chance at happiness because she completely understands who Emily is as a person

Paily was beautiful and at least Paige had a good good bye scene without her being the bad guy (i was afraid for that to happen the most).

the best love story PLL ever had and frankly one of the best teen f/f romances on TV ever, honestly. even till the end it was clear that paily were soulmates and that they always wanted to be together, it's just that MK & the writers needed to pander to certain groups so they had to write some disgusting BS plotline. don't tell me that after the show ends, no matter how it ends, emily won't run off to be with paige -- because that's who she WANTS to be with. the end.

i could have loved this show forever if paily had been endgame. at least we got final confirmation of their true feelings and paige was a hero. but sadly i'll always remember paily as a great "what if", and they always deserved better than that. 7 years of them. 7 seasons. thrown away for nothing. i hope it was worth it. at least we were lucky to get so many beautiful moments with them and see their growth and love.

The one thing I loved was that Emily wanted Paige to stay, she wanted to make it work. It was Paige who declined. It was Paige who left for Iowa and will probably find a million hot chicks worthy of the awesomeness that is Paige.

But seriously, I don't want to bash Emison but it honestly seems like they are only going to be together because of the baby. If Paige would have stayed Emily would have been romantically with Paige and helping Alison with their baby.

It was season 5 all over again. One last **** you to the paily fans from Marlene King. At least Paige left with some dignity. And Emily still wanted her despite everything.

No doubt one of the best f/f couples of all time. I mean I've never seen a couple like them before and the fact that we did have so many amazing and beautiful moments is something I'll never forget, but I'll also never forget that we could have had so much more as well. They should have gotten their happy ending together. And I don't care what anyone says that was the original plan. You don't put that much effort and care into developing a story if you aren't planning on it being there til the end, but of course MK stopped giving a **** about quality lgbtq stories (or any story)in the end. She cares about making sure she has thirteen year olds praising her and calling her queen no matter what the cost. She sacrificed her own show for the sake of getting twitter numbers when if she really gave a damn she could have had one of the greatest f/f couple endings ever on TV right now. It would have been so perfect and beautiful to see from start to finish the growth from each of them struggling and fighting how they felt to getting through all the struggles together and then actually getting the happy ending together with just the two of them happy, safe and starting a real life together like Emily said she wanted with Paige and we all know Paige had been dreaming of forever.

Paige and Emily ending up together made every bit of sense opposed to the other ships! They're the only ship that you could actually believe would make it that far because their relationship was so damn good and wasn't tainted by lies or with one of them hooking up with the others best friend. I mean for ****s sake Emily still wanted to be with Paige even after knowing about the baby! Come on! Like what does that tell you? Emily WANTS Paige. So just let her have her! This show is so frustrating because it had everything so perfectly together at one point and now nothing!makes!sense!

I hate so much that they ripped away every bit of growth that Emily ever had and stuck her into the middle of this horrid abusive story and left her in this shell of abuse and toxic grossness. It's just so sad to see her having to settle for this bull**** when she had the perfect relationship with Paige. Those two deserved their happy ending and the fact that Alison is getting it instead of Paige is honestly sickening to me. Because Paige deserved so much better than that. All the characters did but Paige truly did. All the pain and suffering Alison put her through, that she put herself through, all because she was so scared of loving Emily but then finally getting the girl of her dreams in the end? Like that's the story these people should have been rooting for and that the writers should have realized was the perfect ending for Emily. Being with the one person who we've seen for seven years always love her unconditionally even when she had every reason in the world not to (which is what you do when you truly love someone instead of constantly making them wonder and guess and feel manipulated) and stuck by her no matter what. Even after the jump Paige was right there when Emily needed her and Emily STILL wanted her despite her having a creepy baby. The fact that you can clearly read between the lines of this ridiculous story and see that without Emily being violated along with Alison, Paily would have been endgame says EVERYTHING!

Like MK literally had to be like "welp, no choice. Just gonna have to do what we gotta do at this point...Rape baby it is!" Imagine being that desperate for just a moment...and actually thinking it's a GOOD idea.

When you have to do that instead of just letting your characters fall in love, like we clearly see Paige and Emily do time and time again no matter what, that says something. MK knows this story is bull**** but she doesn't care. She doesn't give two ****s about E/A, Paily, the individual characters or the actresses that busted their asses and put their hearts into these characters for seven years and she showed that very well. And I hope she never gets the chance to destroy any other lgbtq stories ever again.

And I definitely believe that no matter what in the future somehow Emily is going to end up with Paige again. We won't see it but it's what will happen. It's canon and I don't care what anybody else says about that. Emily has always gone back to Paige because she's the person that she was always looking for. And she'll find her again eventually.

The thread has been amazing though. I hate to think it's going to turn cold but at least we still have the old pages to go back through and we can remember the good times.

Paige was pure and was the best for Emily. she always truly cared about her and she just gets Emily who she really is. it's sad they threw this all away and didn't make them endgame because of the baby storyline. but like jace1793 said below, i would like to believe that Em always comes back to Paige.

Paily has been one of the most healthiest relationships i know and definitely the healthiest relationship in PLL.

Yikes....so an episode after Paige leaves Emily jumps into a relationship with Ali? They write Emily so badly. There's no consistency. They made her into a flop😫

I get the writers have to rush it but having Emily say that when Paige first came back she thought they would get back together and then asking her to stay so they could make it work and then now suddenly being together with Ali is a joke. It's a mess

Emily went from having the best and healthiest relationship to the absolute worst and most toxic of them all. She's beyond Aria/Ezra level of gross now. And to make it even more hilarious Sasha and Shay just look...so uncomfortable? I mean I'm sorry but every "romantic" scene they are in together just seems so flat and forced (no pun intended there) and the fact that they've consistently destroyed Emily's love life since s5 is just telling that they have no idea what they're doing and all of this was last minute decisions because MK was to busy on her other show to give this one the justice it deserved and it's going to be hilarious when the rest of her **** flops.

And I just find it hilarious that MK is saying this (E/A endgame) was her plan all along. You're telling me that in SEVEN YEARS you couldn't come up with ANY other way to bring these two characters together? That's a cool story, bro. She's so ****ty she can't even admit that she failed at her own show and just gave a bunch of bitchy and whiny brats what they wanted. And the fact that she is promoting it as loveislove is beyond absurd. Rape is not love and I'm sorry but I don't care how you try and spin it, at the end of the day it's a relationship that is now and forever centered around and on a rape. No baby= No Emison. Plain and simple facts.

Paily was centered around ACTUAL love for each other and E/A will never be able to reach that level. I don't care how many love scenes or future engagements or other crap they get at this point. It still doesn't take away from the fact that Paily had the more realistic and genuine relationship throughout the entire show all the way to Paige's last moment. They're not endgame but I'd much rather have a story that clearly shows BOTH characters falling for each other over and over and growing together and actually seeing them happy together and knowing that it was honest and real on both sides at all times, and based on nothing but the fact that they truly really did love each other, then have a forced rape baby endgame any day of the week.

And the fact that Emily wanted to raise the baby with Paige.... As soon as that kid pops out Emily is going to be knocking on Paige's door.

Everything you said is true. I'm sorry but shay has the chemistry of a wet paper bag with sasha. Its so bad, and so awkward. You go from believable kisses to whatever the hell they're doing.

500%. The only reason that paily arent together is cause paige doesnt want to live as 3 women and a baby. And I dont blame her, I wouldnt want vile Alison anywhere near the people I love.

And I'm 100% convinced that if pll kept going emison wouldnt last a season, and paily would get back together. Except for a baby there is nothing keeping them together. And Emily didnt even ask to be forced into this.
