First off, Twisty, I love your thing.

I mean, the thing you made. It's beautiful!

I've been so over the show as a whole for a long while now. At this point Im just watching for Paily, I have to see this through to the end. I get how shows work and that they have to toss Emison fans something and they like the drama and the shipper wars that all of this generates, but I hated that kiss. I've been spoiler free so imagine the near heart attack I had when my friend texted me "Omg Emily and Alison are making out"!

It made me feel physically ill to see Emily kissing someone else.

Honeslty I didn't even really see it.

I saw a bit and then turned away.

Even more disappointing was the scene that I have been waiting to see. I've been wanting a scene were Paige gets to confront Alison for all that she did to her, and while they kinda touched on it, it wasn't nearly enough. I echo the sentiments expressed in this thread about that.

I do believe that ultimately, Paily will prevail. They just have to sort through Emily figuring out her feelings for Alison. I mean I get it, and I'm just glad she's not cheating. I did like how concerned Emily is for Paige. It was very sweet, even though it was only for a second or two. I loved the scene in the locker. Lindsey did some really good work there.

My thoughts are all jumbled up, as you can probably tell.

I am happy that we got Lindsey pics this week but then again .....MK starts posting Lindsey pics after the whole EA scene......either she is trying to ease our pain......or she still trying to keep feelings up just to crush them again......because she sure likes stirring drama between these two ships

that Paige was indeed in the Christmas episode. And to continue to let the Paily fans know that they are not over(and that there is still some hope). She obviously did it to sooth the fans because she knows that this E/A stuff has turned very many off. And its never good marketing to alienate any part of your fanbase.

Like I stated in the other thread all of the over hype about the triangle and the relentless teasing of E/A did not translate into big ratings or demos. The ratings were average and stayed pretty much the same as previous episodes of this season. So this triangle has so far not brought the viewers in droves. MK and the ABCFamily brass forget that the majority of fans of television shows are off line and don't have time nor the inclination to participate in social media. Paily has good support online but I'm pretty sure they have even more fans who like them that are off line.

But ABCFamily seems to only put stock in social media. They overplayed their hand putting their eggs in one basket instead of also mining the gold(Paily) they already had in front of them. Ignoring Paige and Paily has been a detriment. And I (as well as many others) felt like the 100 episode was such a muddled letdown especially the Paige/Ali confrontation. So I think MK was doing a little damage control while also publicizing the Christmas episode of which she wrote and is directing. I think MK also released the pics to keep the "triangle" in motion.

The triangle can't work if both fandoms don't have any hope. I'm not saying the triangle will still be in motion, but it might be as one can never trust TPTB on PLL. The build up is indeed there for an eventual Paily reunion in season 5. We just don't know if or when it will happen. If it happens it could be in 5A or 5B. I do think Paily will have some fun times and romance in the Christmas episode even if they don't reunite. We just have to see if MK can pull off the epic romance she has been touting for months in the episode. The botched 100th episode has me doubting but I do hope she will come through.

First thoughts on E/A scene is just the strange placement of it in the episode. I can actually see where Emily was coming from that whole need to know, & taking an opportunity but to place it after the Paily scene seems cruel. I think the Paily sneak peek gave us too much hope too & threw me off track as to what would happen. I guess I didn't think the E/A scene would be as full on as it was & would be more of a build up to something later on. Perhaps as someone else said it's better for Paily - gets all the E/A stuff out of the way early in the season. I do hope they don't just drag this whole thing out.

I also echo what I think everyone has said about the Paige/Ali scene & what a waste it was & with Paige disappearing after next week I can't see them having another one. I think they're going to focus on Jenna/Sydney etc. for these episodes.

God this whole thing is making my head spin. I hope Emily tells Paige but at the same point it's going to crush her (unless she has the same weird-ass reaction as she did to Shana's death). I kind of hope it's the reason she disappears for the next few episodes I mean that we're actually given a reason & she doesn't just vanish to out of town. But at the same point I don't see how they can re-unite (if that's what happens) by 513. Not if it's done properly & not off screen as others here have said. Plus I want to know what's going on with Emily - I want her talking about how she feels, if she misses Paige, that she is conflicted (if she is of course) so there's some continuity & make it clear that she's going back to Paige because she wants her not because Alison's an arse.

MK posting pics & all the little hints is bizarre too. After all the E/A hype it's like not letting them enjoy their moment in the sun. My God there's going to be carnage if E/A doesn't last & Paily gets back together. I have to say though those photos have helped ease my distaste for E/A. Sometimes I think the writers are responsible & know what they're doing, then they have that scene with Ezria so....

It's like everything is hyped up so much it can't fail to disappoint.

Have u guys seen the 5x08 promo stills that show Emily and Spencer. Is Emily wearing Paiges jacket. because it looks like the one Paige is wearing in the festival when Emily wants to introduce Paige to Samara in season 1...and if it is the same jacket do u guys think she is wearing it because she misses Paige lol.....I hope so but I know it would be far fetch.....
