I don't think so. Spencer would have dropped it in a heartbeat if Hanna hadn't given her "permission/blessing". This sort of thing happens sometimes.

I doubt she's clueless, she knows Hanna too well for that, which just makes it so much worse.

Have you noticed that this whole thing has pretty much isolated Spencer from all of the girls. So much for them always being close.

She just spent two episodes sleuthing with Aria... Emily is the most secluded of the girls, if you ask me.

And before those episodes she pretty much hadn't acknowledged that Aria even still exists since the premiere, and even during them they showed that Aria no longer feels that Spencer can be relied on as much as she used to be, before the jump Aria would have told Spencer before going down that ladder. Emily's been consistent with Hanna pretty much all of 6B, she's not isolated at all.
