The love story

Spencer Hasting has always strived to be the perfectionist like the rest of her family. She gets good grades, excels at extra curricular activities, appears absolutely well-mannered. However, deep down Spencer felt like a shadow of her sister Melissa and the only consolation prize was the attention she got from Melissa's boyfriends. But Spencer didn't feel like they were exactly what she was looking for either.

Then Alex Santiago, “the ball boy” - as referred to by one of Spencer's friends, came along. The sweet, down-to-earth townie is neither a rich nor super duper genius guy but makes Spencer happy and comfortable with herself. The feelings they share are mutual and despite the wealth/class division, they find their way to each other. In a small town full of secrets, lies and mysteries like Rosewood, Spencer & Alex's relationship is possibly the only thing that we can have faith in.
