Their story begins when Aria Montgomery meets Ezra Fitz.
They were two perfect strangers meeting at a bar. They instantly
have a connection and begin their love affair. The following day, on
her first day back at school, Aria realises the perfect stranger she met
at the bar was her new English teacher, Mr. Fitz. Although, through the
next episodes, Aria and Ezra’s relationship is constantly tested;
Ezra rejects Aria's advances, Aria attempts to transfer out of Ezra's class -
but in the end, the two reconcile, both at Ali's funeral, and in Ezra's car.
Their future seems uncertain at times because of the sneaking around,
but we hope the romance will continue on for these two.

And I too have to comment on what was said right before the old thread was killed. I mean... okay, maybe it's because I grew up in a very open-minded family (you know how we Swedish people are

), but I really think it's childish to label Aria and Ezra "wrong" without even trying to appreciate the reality of their situation. It's like when someone says "Hey, put some ketchup on your pancakes - it's delicious!" and you won't even try it because 'you know' it'll taste bad. People who do that - who never even try to see what it'll taste like before deciding it's gross, are kind of stupid in my opinion, and it's the same with Aria and Ezra.

Some people say that Ezra's a pedophile (which he's not, 'cause Aria's not an effing child!) and that their relationship is wrong based on two things: he's her teacher, and she's underage. It's sad that they don't see there's more too it, like for instance...

#1: Aria is so much more mature than other girls her age. I think she acts like an adult more than she acts like a teenage girl, and if she had a personality of someone who's very immature and 'young', Ezra would never have fallen for her.
#2: They actually do love each other, and the feeling is mutual. It's not like she's some love sick school girl and Ezra takes advantage of that to get laid. People who say that need to shut up *annoyed*
#3: Aria's grades have nothing to do with her and Ezra on a personal level. This, too, is a stupid assumption that people seem to make. I mean, would they be against the relationship if he worked as a mailman? Huh?

I'd also like to comment on another thing that caught my attention, because when I read it I didn't agree. Ezria is amazing and I know that (that's why I ship them, obviously

), so don't get me wrong when I say this, but I don't think they have the strongest chemistry on all of the tv shows out there right now. Michael and Nikita (from Nikita) is, in my opinion, the definition of chemistry, but Ezria is still a good couple. It's too bad we don't get to see more scenes with them where they talk about stuff that couples talk about. I mean, I believe they do that all the time... we just don't get to see it, you know?

natalieblah, I don't watch that show so I can't agree or disagree, but I will say that I think Aria/Ezra would have more "intense/romantic" scenes if it weren't for the television station it's aired on and the fact that the books that it was adapted from wasn't classified as young adult. Perhaps that's overreaching in a sense, and I'm not complaining because I LOVE their moments, but I think that hinders them in a sense.

I totally agree with you. I've read the two first PLL novels, and I was like "wait, what?" when I compared them to the show, because none of the intimate-intimate things happen on the show (and that's, like you said, because of the TV station it airs on). I do however like it as it is, even though more intimate/romantic moments would be nice. It's kind of sweet

But I still need more Ezria talks! Long, long, long talks. And some kissing, of course. In the car. When it rains *giggle*

Perhaps we'll get one of those scenes where they half unbotton each other's shirts and lie down on the bed and kiss a little, and then the scene fades out? But that's it, I think. Not saying it wouldn't be good enough for me though
