I didn't read the books but I found this on wikipedia:

When Aria Montgomery was younger she had a huge crush on Jason following him around and trying to impress him. He went on a couple of dates with her but things didn't work out.
Book #6 'Killer': Aria falls in love with Jason DiLaurentis again until he becomes cold and distant from her.

So she did have a crush on him in the past, fell for him again later, but it didn't work out in the end..

It seems like the show has taken a different turn since right now it seems like Jason is the one approaching her rather than the other way around. However, based on the way she looks at him I think she cares about him and at the very least finds him attractive. They definitely have some UST and great chemistry so I'm excited to see what happens with them from here on out

MK said the triangle would be resolved by the summer finale, but that didn't mean it couldn't be re-invented in the next 12 episodes. Hopefully that means there will be some more Jaria scenes!
