One of biggest new questions is what Is going on with mona.

I agree that whether Ezra is king honcho A or not he is involved. Suddenly the Ezra SL aren't so random. I keep wondering why x girlfriend would come to Rosewood and tell Ezra he was Malcolm's dad if he wasn't. What was in it for her? Is it connected?

I honestly don't think it's about protecting Aria. It has something to do with his past.

You know, as much as the Toby turn around was a let down Toby pretty much said he was "going to find out for himself". All the hints to Toby's motives were there. This is different.

I am reminded of an incident from season 1 when Ezra was putting on the play

Mona: I am not sure if my character is evil or really naughty?

Ezra: I'd thing you'd know Mona

I am starting to wonder about that statement

So 2 theories on that reveal: Ezra was angry that the girls found his lair or he was angry that A was harassing Aria again
