He knows her. He knew that she needed someone to tell her it was okay, but he also knows that she can make her own decision as to whether or not she does.

Toby always let's her do her thing and trusts her until she really goes extremeness and if he feels like she's hurting herself too much. That's what I love about him. He's so respectful.

Yup. He basically worships her, and feels like she can do no wrong.

But when she is harming herself, he steps in, like he should.

He's so good at reading her, and I'd like to think that applies to more than just her, tbh, because that seems to be the sort of person he is
