I was so sad for Ashley in the scene where Hanna and her dad leave for dinner, and he says he just wants it to be the two of them

yea, totally. And Ashley was trying to hide how upset she was for Hanna's sake, but as soon as the door closed and she started taking her earrings off you could tell she was kinda crushed.

it definitely seems like Ashley is barely hanging on. Ashley is actually one of the characters I'm most intrigued by
