Agreed. Even though I was on the Emaya side during our shipwar days (which is ridiculous to me now

), I always enjoyed ET's friendship, as I did in the books. It's sad that that has really fallen to the wayside ever since S1a. This is why I kind of hate that Toby left school, because it cut down like 90% of his chances of spending time with Emily.

Oh gosh, I know it was delivered to Spencer, and I know the EM not shiny on the ribbon was intended as a warning, but considering that nothing really HAPPENED (minus the fake Toby death intended bc Em was snooping)... I just thought that the letters non shiny would mean "With deepest sympathy, Em" but obvs not I'm just getting all the feels that totally are deeper than the writers intended.

But Emily has a key to the loft still!
