I think I'm more drawn to them because I'm a sucker for this kind of drama. I still can't get over Veronica and Peter's huge parental fail. They thought Melissa could possibly be a murderer but were all too happy to leave her alone with her younger sister. Fail!!!

WE GOT VERONICA! Bit of Veronica/Spencer. Veronica/Ashley, Veronica/Ashley/Ella. She's clearly in charge because she's the lawyer.

And Garrett wanted a lawyer...wants Veronica.

My favorite family. Cannot wait to see how they progress. I want more Jason and Melissa and Peter. COME HOME!

I miss seeing her too. I don't agree with how she handles things especially when everyone was ganging up on Spencer, but she is a fighter

I think she was kind of torn with the whole ganging up on Spencer thing. With the Wren stuff, she only had Melissa's word of what she saw, and lets face it, Melissa lies. She assumed that Melissa had told her the truth, and therefore assumed that Spencer was in the wrong. Admitting that what she knew may not have been exactly what happened would have meant having to accept that Melissa had lied, and she wouldn't want to believe that. Do we know if she ever even got Spencer's other side of the story? It sounded to me like Spencer had only tried to tell her parents. As much as I hated the way they treated her for the first few episodes, I kind of took it as they were trying to teach her a lesson.

With the Ian stuff, for Melissa's sake, she couldn't believe that Ian was dead, but at the same time, Spencer was saying that he was. It was kind of a lose-lose situation, whatever she said, one of her daughters will get hurt, and it just seems that, like usual, Spencer was the one that got hurt. Maybe she just views Spencer as emotionally stronger than her sister, so thought that Melissa needed the support more?

I don't doubt that she loves her kids though, she just makes a lot of misguided decisions in regards to them. She and Peter both do (like leaving potentially murderous older daughter alone with younger daughter ), but I don't think anything she's done has been really creepy/questionable, which is why I don't get why some people (and there are a few) feel that she's part of the A team.

I'm not saying Peter is a bad parent, he seems great to Melissa, but with Spencer it's always seemed to me that he's only interested when she does something really really good (the award, before he knew she'd stolen the eassy) or really really bad (getting arrested), or on the odd occasion where she's found something out about him and he needs to make himself look good in her eyes (Jason etc.).
