I doubt it. I think it was obvious that Ali set everything up. Melissa taking the recording Spencer had was most likely part of her own, unconnected, plan

I wouldn't laugh-Who does that to their own sister? Plus,she's been doing her job lately. I think all of them care,they just have shady ways of fixing their problems.

If Melissa is protecting Spencer as she says, and I believe she is, then to an extent, Spencer's actions have probably forced her to be shady

Spencer doesn't know when to stop and she does insane things. It would make sense that Melissa would have to do equally insane things to protect her
