for a second, I found myself thinking she was being genuine.. cuz of how it was playing out, but yeh, obviously not in the end. lol
and that was pretty crazy, although i really didn't have a problem w/ it cuz all 3 of them messed up, so it was hard for me to feel bad for any one of them. |

Just read this one today.
The thing that definitely stuck out for me was the whole Spencer/Wren/Melissa thing. That was way messed up of Melissa. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised, everything with them is always a competition. Why would it suddenly change - should have been suspicious when she said she was willing to forgive the whole thing but I wasn't stupid me. I would have been surprised about the Toby thing if I hadn't known already. But as it was I felt horrible for him that he so misundestood when Emily said... so sad. And it's weird for me how not close the girls are in the books __________________

I'm starting the third book now, but it's been so long since I read the second. Can anyone fill me on Jenna/Toby and the Toby thing? Oh and Melissa too. I vaguely recall, but it's very fuzzy memories.

I'm still not cool with the fact that they took that route on the show. It was so perfectly done in the books, I mean I didn't particularly like that Toby died but I think overall I prefer that storyline

I totally agree. I mean, I love that Toby is alive in the show, because he adds a certain something to the show that I can't quite put my finger on; but that plot in the book was so intriguing.... I loved it!
