I'm curious to see how Emily's parents will deal with their daughter's sexuality issue. It seems that they will take a softer approach than the one in the books.

This is totally inappropriate but somehow I laughed out loud when Mama Fields said "Let her ruin her life so she can experiment?" Kissing girls ruins people's lives

I love that Emi (so cute!) told her daddy! I want more Emily/Daddy scenes.

And Daddy/Mommy talking. Intense, but so very well written and acted. LOVE IT!

I love that it wasn't just Emily who was struggling but also her dad who was struggling with his belief to understand his daughter

That was a great thing. He doesn't get it and doesn't exactly like it, but he loves his daughter and will try.

Now, I have no idea what Emily and her family are going through, but isn't his willingness to try and understand what she's dealing with one of the most important things when someone comes out?
