Sorry it took me a while to reply, I knew this would turn into a semi long post, so I wanted to wait until I could focus on it.

Angsty, and in all honesty, I'm disappointed in both of them right now. That can be summed up in one scene -

The angst is still being handled perfectly, of course, and I'm grateful for that, I'm not disappointed with the writers, just the characters. Toby shouldn't have lied to her, and he shouldn't have abandoned her when she was upset, but she's being pretty unreasonable. If he tells her what's in the barrel, he would be sharing confidential information, and that would make him corrupt, but aside from that, if Tanner found out he had told her, she would assume it was part of some plan to protect Hanna, and that would put Hanna in an even worse position than she is now. Spencer needs to respect that he wants to do his job properly, and realise that him knowing is enough - putting more people at risk by telling them is not worth it.

They're kind of both right in their situations - he wants to do a good job, she thinks she's protecting Hanna and Caleb - but they're both wrong with how they're going about it.

I'm not sure when his next episode is now (It's either 19 or 20, we don't know if he's in 19), but whichever it is, I hope they start taking steps towards resolving their issues. Maybe a little space will help them see things more clearly

I do hope Toby stops being a cop after this season

You know as much as I know they are going to get through this, it kills me to see them this way. Fighting and hurting and pushing each other away all because of a stupid job he only got to protect and help her in the first place. I'm starting to think I want Toby to stop being a cop too because it's hurting Spoby and I don't like it.

I don't think Toby will continue to be a cop after this season. In a way it's a shame, because it was great development for the character, but with the way it's affecting Spencer and their relationship, I just can't see him wanting to continue.

19 or 20

The wiki says 19, and although it's commonly wrong, if K isn't in at least two of 19, 21, 22 or 23 then he won't be in his usual 15 episodes.
