Technically Lyndon didn't admit it. Last time I saw the episodes (I pretty much hated both Maya and her storylines tbh and never bothered to re-watch her scenes), he said something like "I'll do to you what you did to her". I think it was meant as a confirmation of him killing her but the way he put it struck me as odd.
