I refuse to watch the rest of PLL's season 4 because I just feel the writing has been awful. The bad writing has rendered the characters and couples all unrootworthy in my opinion. Season 4 has been the worst season of PLL in my view as well. However I still read the recap and know what went down in 421. The writer's have dumbed down everyone in town except Paige. She is the only sensible, intelligent, sane, and selfless person in Rosewood at the moment. I like the fact that Paige did what she did to protect Emily and to try to end the hold that A has over the Lair's lives in Rosewood. Paige was literally a hero for what she did in my opinion. I'm gonna need for Paige to expose more of A's (Ali's) shenanigans in season 5.






That is very good news. I think Paige and Emily are the best couple on PLL. They have the best chemistry and story on the show. However they are not perfect by any means. My issues with Paily comes from how the writers have made Emily constantly take Paige for granted. Right now Paige deserves way better and seems too good for Emily. It makes no sense how Emily keeps mistreating Paige. She does not seem to value Paige. And I think that comes from the fact that Paige has always been so loving, loyal, supportive, and acquiescent towards Emily. Paige is always apologizing for everything(even things that are not her fault) and doing the reaching out in the relationship.


Paige loves Emily so much and would do anything for her. Emily knows this so she just continues to mistreat and take her for granted because she knows that Paige will keep being there for her. I think this needs to change as soon as possible in season 5. I love that Paige is head over heels in love with Emily. But I think the writers need to have Paige go back to being fiery, witty, gutsy, and resilient. I don't want Paige being written as a pushover anymore. Paige needs to basically give Emily a run for her money in season 5. The writers need to show that there is equal love, support, care, trust, and respect in Paige and Emily's relationship in the 5th season in my opinion.

I forced myself to watch that Behind the Curtain thing for Lindsey and I hope I never have to watch another.

The best parts were:

1) Lindsey fangirling when she found out Shay was partly responsible for the PLL theme song. "Shay did that? That's so cool!"
2) The end, when the host asks them to give themselves a round of applause and Lindsey claps while literally making a circular motion with her arms lol She's adorable.
