I just read a post about the absence of an Arwen kiss in s5 - which I'm not too bothered about since the Arwen scenes this season have been truly awesome! But...what if they decide to include one in the finale? If Arthur does die (

) how awful would it be if their only kiss was goodbye?

I really want to believe it will all end well but I just cant shake the feeling since S5 started that this is the end for Arthur

They have had lots of hugs and hand holding and he carried her to bed but we haven't actually had a kiss.

I hate the idea of Gwen ruling alone. She would be a good and just Queen. But she'd always be sad and lonely for the rest of her life. And without an heir what would become of Camelot?

Which then also raises the question, if Arthur died, would Merlin still stay to help advise Gwen? I think no matter how guilty he would feel about not being able to protect Arthur he wouldn't abandon Gwen when she needed him the most.

Yeah me too, I loved the episode, the action, the reveal! Great it was at the start and we got some great moments between Merlin and Arthur, but the ending, I just knew it would happen but hoped I was wrong. I didnt like that we got no scene with Gwen and him before he died but I dont feel annoyed or peed off like I thought I would. Im so sad to see it end but feel it was a great finale. Altho the ending was a bit odd.

It was an epic finale that concentrated on Arthur and Merlin as it should but all I can say now is Long Live the Queen
