5x09: With All My Heart Episode Discussion [Airs December 1st]
Merlin knows he must act fast before Morgana's twisted control over Gwen gets further out of hand. But only the most powerful magic can save the queen and this will not be easy, even for Merlin. As the high priestess tightens her grip on Camelot, one thing is clear - she will not give up her puppet without a fight. With All My Heart airs on December 1st at 20:00 pm on BBC One. I liked it. I just didn't love it.
I was hoping for a repeat of what we got with Queen of Hearts. But this episode just had too much going on, that there didn't feel like there was any real closure. No final Arwen or Merthur scenes. They were the two ships affected most by the enchantment. But we didn't get any one on one time with them. Probably because the writers are building up Mordred as the next threat. I realize there might not have been time for it. But it's really those kinds of scenes between the main characters that to me make this show so great. No one can tell me that this isn't a relationship driven show. Also, does Gwen even remember what she did, or will they just forget about it now like it never happened? __________________

I enjoyed the episode
But I agree there was a lot going on that we never really got closure an anything. I have questions too like does Gwen remember what she did? From what I can tell it looks like she doesn't remember and they are moving on from it. Did Morgana see Merlin command Aithusa to leave? She was watching them when she sent Aithusa down but was she still there when Merlin worked his Dragon Lord magic? They are working towards Mordred being the next threat I don't know how they are getting him there yet but we did see the new Mordred use magic for the first time this series and that was fun I just have to post this Colin and his sheer brilliance and comedic ability   __________________
