Ah, okay.
I agree. A lot of fans would have had some serious problems with the two of them being intimate more than a tiny kiss like that.  If nothing else, I think had he let it go on, he would have been him being someone he's not. When it came to that sort of thing, Cara and Richard were very different. Richard, I think, really had to be in love (like he was with Kahlan) and was more a committed type. Cara was more open to pretty much anyone.__________________

I think a lot of KR fans were apprehensive/dissatisfied with Cara coming back in the beginning of S2 but I think she grew on most fans.
With good reason. She's a great character.__________________

^ I will say I was one of those people. I hated her back in the beginning. I still can't watch Reckoning without feeling that way. But by episode 5 I've kinda fallen in love with her and all her spunk.

Completely understandable. She was kind of out of the blue, kind of messing with a ship that had spent a whole season becoming well established. Throwing another woman into that mix is definitely touchy.

I disliked Richard in that moment too, just the fact that he did kiss her back even for a sort time. I do understand it though, he probably hasn't had a women be that close to him for a couple of years - and he doesn't seem like a guy that would of paid for it - plus he thought that Kahlan was dead, they might not get back to their normal time and Cara was definitely willing.

I started watching from 2.01 (accidentally) and fell in love with her immediately. But i'm not a big RK fan so i'm sure i'd love her even if i started watching from the pilot.
 Besides, Richard would never be with Cara, even with Kahlan dead. Although he wouldn't mind being with her in that way  __________________

I started from the pilot and watched them in order back in November. I remember bein warned that I would not like Cara in the finale but I have liked her from the start. More so since 2x01 cause we've gotten more of her and she's so awesome
I agree Richard never would have let it go further because of his never ending love for Kahlan even if she was dead__________________

I watched the show from the begaining and I liked Cara the first time I saw her she was so defferent from the others and I really liked that.

Though they didn't get a lot of down time in the finale tonight...in the end, I think that Cara and Richard's bond was properly represented.

They actually kind of came full circle. I mean, that's how they started out...i.e. Cara helping Richard out of a tough situation...last season and it is how they ended up. I was glad that, in the end, they showed her loyalty to him, not as her master but as her friend.
