I think it was quite telling, both of Richard and of his relationship with her, that he was her consummate defender, even when it seemed to confuse and anger those around him.

Yeah I always liked how he would defend her no matter what, now that's what I call a true friend:nod:

:nod: I don't think Richard would have been Richard if he had not accepted Cara into the group at the beginning of S2. Trusting that she would be loyal to him was just part of his nature as was seeing the good person who existed behind Cara's tough facade.

They're very protective of each other.

:nod: For example, them fighting each other and Richard stood there with his sword in the air.. He didn't want to hurt her.

There's a moment in the TotW that I love. Even though Richard's not to pleased with her during their conversation.

I do like how their bond changed from just loyalty (on Cara's part) to a deep respect and friendship between the two of them.

They are very versatile and it is great that people can see them in so many different lights. :nod: I am another one who just likes them as anything. As long as they're talking, communicating, whatever, I'm good. :D
