I totally agree on how it was new to her
Like you said, Rahl used her and Richard trusted her. However, as far as we know didn't have the time to truly get to know her. Though, Leo was interested in her and wanted to know her. So any girl would have liked Leo for that Hell, I would__________________

Leo was kind of the modern day equivalent to the "perfect guy."
At least, to Care he was anyway. And, who knows, maybe part of the allure for her in the beginning was that there was a challenge. Not so much to get him but to understand why he got her. Leo was a bit of a mind game for Cara and it pulled her out of her comfort zone. __________________
