Like it or not, Leo was part of who Cara became before she was re-broken. I don't really think she could have been that person without having encountered Leo.

Look at those smiles. I think he's one of the few that could really make her smile like that and feel the way that she did in those moments. They were bright, genuine smiles instead of sarcastic smirks.
