Oh Kris.

I keep hoping it's nothing quite so dire. Attitude really is key and you seem to be maitaining a good one about all this so keep that up. I think I can safely say we're all keeping you in our thoughts and wishing for the best.

I found out yesterday we might have Nov. 12-14 off work. We definitely have the 12 off bc it's Veteran's Day. But they doing a system upgrade the other days and I presented the issues w/us being open to my boss (ie information migration, lack of account authentication, potential for lost materials, etc) and she agreed with me. So did the library board treasurer. It'll be presented to the board on Friday and they will hopefully decide then. I'd have 6 days total off if they did give it to us.

Oh and just to let everyone know, I'm leaving for my California vacation on Saturday and I won't be back until October 1st.

Yes, pictures. I live vicariously through all the vacation pictures you people post because I never really GO anywhere. Though, I've got some cash saved and might go to Florida if I get the time off in Nov.

Same! I haven't been on holiday in over two years nor sunlight.
I'm thinking about going to France next year if I get some money - in celebration of my 21st.

Yeah. We got this Citypass so we're doing 3 days Disneyland, 1 day Universal, 1 day Sea World, and 1 day San Diego Zoo. We're going to be busy

Citypass is awesome. I got one when I went to Chicago the last time I was there. Saved a ton of money on museum admissions.

My boss called today and our days off in Nov. got approved.

So I am checking my finances and going to start possibly planning a vacation.
