Cara was chosen to be trained into a Mord-Sith as a young girl. As all Mord-Sith candidates she was subjected to the three breakings;
first of herself being broken by a Mord-Sith trainer, breaking her mother, then of herself breaking her father, and finally killing him.

Her early life left her with an immense fear of rats, as they would nibble and bite her in the room she was kept at night during her training,
and hesitation, which caused her to get caught and turned her into what she was; and ultimately resulted in the death of her family.
As with all Mord-Sith, she feared dying toothless and in bed of old age.

As a Mord-Sith, Cara was forced to be loyal to the reigning Lord Rahl of D'Hara, Darken Rahl. Rahl expected total obedience of his Mord-Sith,
and was known to beat and rape Cara and her "sisters".

In seeing the future of what Darken Rahl became, she betrayed him and joined Richard in orchestrating his death.
Cara now travels with Richard as his protector and bodyguard.

So, for the Richard thread, everyone posted scenes from the show that helped me to put the survivor together. If we could do that here by everyone listing the episodes that have the best Cara facial expressions, that'd help me out immensely.

I was searching for something about Tabrett on Australian sites and found a mention about this short film, Sanctuary. Can't share the source, but it mentioned Tabrett, Xavier Samuel and Heather Mitchell. It was produced by Azure Productions.

It was shot in October, most likely in Sydney, directed by Benedict Samuel, and my guess is Tabrett was the lead or one of the leads.

This is Azure's homepage: AzureProductions.com.au I haven't seen anything about a project called Sanctuary though. And this is all they said on their Facebook page: "Is working with Bene on Sanctuary and it is looking amazing...."
But I'll try to contact them and find out more. I tried looking for further details on the net but came up empty.

Update! I recieved an email from one of the producers, Annmaree Bell, and she said:

"Tabrett is an amazing actress and we are hoping to have the film ready in March 2011.
I'll keep you updated with the details."

Thank you for the answer here too! Fingers crossed for everything to work out, I'll post as soon as I find out anything more.

I hope it will be released as well because I just love Tab and I as well would love to see her in a project again (although I would love it most if it was LotS, but I'm sure we all would) It's a pity that Mrs. Bell didn't say more about it. We know nothing what the movie is about or which character Tab's portraying.

The chances of that happening improve, I think, with Xavier Samuel's involvement because he has been getting a lot more attention since he did Eclipse last year. So maybe between he and Tab, it'll generate enough interest to it released. Can't hurt to hope.
