Staggered by loss and increasingly isolated, Richard and Kahlan desperately struggle to survive. But if they are to live, they must stop the relentless, unearthly threat that comes out of the darkest night of the human soul. I'm glad you enjoyed it...I tried not to be negative, but I really could not stand that freaking goat, I've never hated a fictional goat before and I didn't even read most of this book

I hated that goat too

I was hoping the old lady that was mating them took it away and ate it.

I pretty much only read after Richard/Kahlan/Cara showed up, but I hated the goat a lot in NE.

Oh, dont remember if it was in this book, but there's a scene where Jennsen meets this lady who makes food out of goat meat.

Jennsen doesn't find that out until the old lady disappears with her goat

Tom brings the goat back to Jennsen at the Pillars of Creation

That goat lasts quite a while even after the goat gets all depressed and suicidal

Yeah

Tom rescued the goat... well not really rescue but the old woman just wanted to breed it with hers. I never expected Tom to be like a secret D'Haran agent

For me, the only purpose they served was to show Jennsen that Richard was the epitomy of good

I just wanted your opinion guys on weather I should read this book or not? I mean I love show!Jennsen but I can't stick to reading an entire book about her. Which were the good parts and I might just read those.
