Taylor Lautner goes shirtless and does some cartwheels on the beach while filming scenes for his new movie Run the Tide on Tuesday (June 17) in Los Angeles. The 22-year-old actor was also seen wearing a plaid shirt and carrying a bunch of bags while walking along the highway. Here is the movie’s synopsis: When their drug abusing mother is released from prison determined to rebuild their family, Rey (Lautner) kidnaps his younger brother Oliver and escapes their desert home for the California coast.

So omg, he's doing the movie! Already! It's happening! I had no idea! Why doesn't he inform the fans more! Oh my gosh, I'm so excited about this! It's ben exactly a year since Tracers was shot too! One movie a year, that's fine, that's not a bad speed. Hiiiii, this could work, yes yes!

I can't believe he just started shooting the movie, just like that! They were just rumors when we last talked about it, like a month ago? I thought he was still in London making that show. He moves fast when he wants to.

He likes to keep things close to his chest. That isnt a bad thing.

He's chosen a very public career though and keeping his fans well informed about his future projects is part of it. I'd fire his publicist if I was him, someone isn't doing their job!

I think its up to him. Maybe he wants things a bit quiet especially after the whole twilight circus. Or it could be that he didnt want to jinx things.

The shooting did start really fast after the first announcement. Maybe they are on a busy schedule.

Busy schedule or not, this movie is gonna be good for him. Its different from anything he has ever done before.

I agree and I'm looking forward seeing him with the little boy. And the movie is a drama so I'm really curious now.

It has a lot of new things that people haven't seen in a Taylor Lautner movie before. I hope the script is really good.

It all depends on that. It has to have some good parts about it since he took the role.
