So did I assume wrong in thinking she was playing a big role in this? For some reason I had thought this.

She seems to be a top main cast member but it doesn't stop me from hoping she's in it a lot. She's been cast as a top main before but didn't get very much.

However I do think this role is pretty big and important one based on what little I know of Laura Riding. But still it doesn't stop me from hoping she's in it a lot.
