I agree that they wanted to forget S1 Quinn Heather, I think the storyline was probably meant to be forgotten about and maybe the writer(s) didn't realize that her in S1 intrigued so many of us.

I think RM even openly said that he couldn't wait to close the Beth/pregnancy storyline and that he kinda regretted it. But if you start something, you gotta finish it. They could have done so much with her character this season concerning her issues with giving the baby up.

I think I remember RM saying that and I have to admit at a time where I was trying to trust them I lost some respect for him/them as writers. Quinn being pregnant was not the storyline I had thought or wanted for Quinn (or PQ for that matter) but they went with it. And I thought that while teen pregnancy wasn't shocking I found the fact it was one of their main characters and only 4 episodes into S1 pretty gutsy. So I was seeing where they went with it.
And they really could have done so much but they chose not too. Especially as far as Quinn was concerned. It was mainly about other people and then pretty much dropped in the back 9 other than Dianna wearing her fake belly. And while I'm glad they gave Beth up even that was done pretty quickly. |

Yeah, everything was handled just to be... done as soon as possible.

We all endure these tempestuous plots in hopes of seeing the light at the end. Maybe Ryan will wake up one day and have a Quinn related epiphany ? |

So true. It's starting to get so tiring but I can't help but keep watching because just maybe she will get something.
I really doubt he/they will. The only thing they seem to have gotten better in is giving her more to sing by including her in duets and group. But even that isn't really that much. And it seems we got that because they traded it for her solos. |

I think watching for Dianna is so worth it though, because she plays Quinn so well, she just isn't able to shine as much as we would like her too, it's like we know her character better than the writers
