It's very appreciated you want to start the threads. But when it comes to starting threads surprises aren't a good idea. It could lead to duplicate threads (as you saw). If you want to start the new thread please do but first let us know you want to start so no one else starts it. Or if you see someone else has already said they are going to start then you can either ask if you can start instead.
