Thanks for the gifs, Wells was such a great character, so rational and intelligent. One of the few who thought ahead.

I wonder what would have happened if Wells was still alive, would Kane sacrifice himself to stay on the Ark? Jaha would have a reason to get down, he only stayed behind because he felt like he lost everything.

I think that he would have not sacrificed himself if Wells was still around, he definitely had some guilt over sending his son down to Earth and him dying so soon after that. And also, like you said, he thought that he didn't have anyone left to live for and was okay with dying then. Was it ever addressed as to what happened to Wells's mother BTW?

Total agreement. I don't think we've ever heard what happened to Mrs. Jaha. I always figured she died naturally, possibly even during childbirth. But another potential missed opportunity. Wouldn't it be crazy if Jaha had to float his own wife or something? We could've seen Wells being super bitter about it. That would've been a huge obstacle to overcome. Imo worst than Clarke and Abby because Wells would know the bucked stopped with his father.

That would have made for some good conflict/backstory to Jaha/Wells ... there's really so many ways they could have gone with Wells ... from a story/character perspective and potential dynamics between Wells and the delinquents/Grounders etc.

Yeah. His death wouldn't hurt so much if the show didn't act like he never existed for most of the time, esp. Clarke never mentioning him.

When asked about which characters who are dead he misses the most he mentioned how different Jaha would be if Wells was still around and that the show/dynamic would be totally different.
