Can't wait to see all the lists. I have my top 3, have to figure out the other two.
Alexa, maybe you can find some inspiration from the other lists here, later? __________________

Thanks, Sonja!
Most Socially Active Cast Members 1. BOB MORLEY I really have no idea if Bob actually is the most socially active cast member or not, but he’s the one I follow the most closely. Also, his main cause, mental health, is something that is very near and dear to me due to my own struggle with anxiety, so I really appreciate his efforts to promote its importance. He has inspired me to try to remove the stigma from it in my own life. It’s something that everyone, regardless of race, gender, orientation, etc. can struggle with. It’s an issue that impacts all of us in some way or another at some point. I also really appreciate how he has spoken up about cultural issues, too, and gender issues, neither of which is an easy thing to do, but both of which are important things to do. For the record, I know I salivate over the man, but I have so much respect for him and his talent, so I really like what he said in the video about how men feel about their bodies. Bob plays a sensitive, emotionally vulnerable character on TV, and he isn’t afraid to be sensitive and vulnerable in real life, too. I think that’s very note-worthy of him. 2. LINDSEY MORGAN Again, I really don’t know if Lindsey is the second most active or not, but oh well. I’m putting her here because she did the Battle Scars shirt campaign, which I was proud to support, she spoke so well about strong female representation on TV, especially as a woman of color, at SDCC 2016, and she just . . . how do I put it? I think she’s the type of person who understands that helping someone does not always have to be some huge, grand act. Sometimes, small interactions matter more. When I met her, she didn’t have to come around the table and give me a hug. But she saw me tearing up, so she did that. She didn’t have to stop and turn back when some guests at the panel called her name and asked to speak one on one. But she did. She was so bubbly, warm, and thoughtful. That kindness really matters. 3. DEVON BOSTICK I would imagine that it’s not easy playing a character like Jasper. You have to be the comic relief one minute and then delve into incredibly dark storylines the next. Devon deserves more praise not only for his portrayal of Jasper, but also for the thoughtfulness and consideration that went into it. Read his Hypabale interview following Jasper’s death episode and you’ll see how in touch with the issues of PTSD and depression he became. When many were dismissing Jasper’s storyline in season three as “man-pain,” Devon spoke up, and I was so proud of him for that. Along with Bellamy, Jasper is probably the character that subverted gender norms the most, and Devon both realized this and stood up to those who disregarded it. 4. ELIZA TAYLOR Yaaasss, girl. Eliza knows she’s got curves, and she embraces them. It’s so nice and so refreshing to see a female lead on a CW show who isn’t just a skinny twig. (Although, for the record, the girl is still incredibly petite.) Eliza promotes body positivity, which, as someone who isn’t a size zero, I really appreciate. Playing a bisexual character also seems to have given her a pedestal to speak out on some important issues. Additionally, I really admire her work with the school in Thailand, because as a teacher, obviously education is a very worthwhile cause to me. 5. MARIE AVGEROPOULOS This girl literally went over to India for her cause, which combines two things I’m passionate about: education and the empowerment of young girls. Marie’s work with She Must Count was really cool to see. I don’t really know for sure what else she may have involved herself with over the years, but I do know that I thought this cause was just a really worthwhile one, and I applaud her for it. |

Yeah, Paula, I know Devon has tweeted some stuff in support of the Represent campaigns, too, which is where Bob and Lindsey made their shirts. I think I could have put Eliza above him, but ultimately, I just get so passionate about Jasper’s storyline and the importance of it, and I really loved how Devon defended it, so I went with him at number three instead. |

What was that? I wasn’t in the fandom at the time.
Wow, I can’t believe we chose the same five. |
