It's funny because they don't even know what Clarke alone is capable of. They just think she's a woman Bellamy cared enough about to save and her mom is a physician. They have no idea who the real Clarke is just yet.

That's true, she did start telling them the story of how the world ended (twice) but I wouldn't expect her to share the stories of how they killed the MW people and the entire, complex history of what happened with the Grounders. They have NO CLUE.
